Sports Medicine
When an injury or disease stops you from competing, it takes someone knowledgeable in orthopedic sports medicine to make an accurate diagnosis and develop a treatment plan that works fast to get you back in the game.
The sports medicine program at DeTar Healthcare System combines the specialized knowledge of experienced orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians and licensed athletic trainers to provide the care you or your student athlete needs, close to home.
The providers will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan with the goal of helping you to return you to your optimal performance level.
Sports Morning Clinic
If your child is a middle or high school student who recently experienced a sports injury, we can help. The advanced nurse practitioners at DeTar On Demand are available on Saturdays to assess and treat your child’s sports injury.
What to bring
- School insurance form
- Personal insurance card
- Driver’s license or identification card
- Consent to treat (if without legal guardian)
Clinic Information
- Open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- No appointment necessary
- Initial sports injury evaluations
- Order for X-rays, MRIs, casts or braces, if needed (for an additional fee)
- Local orthopedic referrals
